VitalLink3 streams encrypted data in real time to the VitalNet from where it can be accessed by your Medical Service Provider.
Depending on the scenario in which the VitalLink is operating, it will connect to a server network we call the VitalNet, and send an encrypted data stream which can be accessed by you and/or your Medical Service Provider (MSP), medical department or private medical professional(s) to view the incoming in real time data.
The VitalNet saves the data from each session in an anonymous record. Access to the VitalNet requires pre-authorisation, a password and login ID to access the session data. Session data is always transmitted in an encrypted form and is not stored on the monitoring computer. These steps ensure that sensitive personal information is only made available to authorised medical professionals.
All data sent by the VitalLink3 and recieved by the VitalNet network is protected by software certificates, which, combined with the fact that no patient identifiable data is held or sent, ensures a patient's medical data remain confidential.
